Crafts of Colrain
Come visit us November 14-15, 2015, during our annual Crafts of Colrain Open Studio Tour, in beautiful Colrain,Massachusetts, where the Connecticut River Valley rises to the Berkshire Hills. Our 18 artisans span an eclectic range from weavers dying scarves made from their own goats wool, to a black smith forging custom fireplace fittings, to a microbrewery making beer from grains grown in fields adacent to his mountainside brewery, to a woodworker fitting inlays from exotic hardwoods and local burls. There's something for everyone in our tucked away little hill and dale filled corner of the state, more "Vermont " than Vermont, where the independent spirit of Shay's Rebellion finds contemporary creative artistic expression. We're two hours drive from Boston, less than an hour from Springfield, 30 minutes from Amherst, Northampton, or Brattleboro Vermont.
